If you don’t offer the app within a couple of weeks I will be switching TV brands. The web browser is clunky and not reliable for streaming and do not suggest I stream from my phone. LG said it’s the first manufacturer to add HBO Go to its system. The apps offered in the LG content store are underwhelming in comparison to similar products (Samsung TVs, Apple TV, etc.). LG; any reply??? You have now switched me to another brand, this is a big deal. And the Apple TV feature doesn’t work well or at all I should say. ESPN app is downright necessary these days. Workaround: log in to ESPN app on a laptop and connect to TV via HDMI cable. You can message me on FB if interested. When researching TVs I did not think to research this item because it should have been a no brainer that ESPN+ would be supported. CFU TV customers can watch an ESPN3 game on a computer, tablet phone or streaming device through the ESPN app, as long as ESPN HD is part of their FiberNet TV plan. I would have went another direction had I known that I wouldn’t have access to ESPN via the LG content store. LG’s Smart TVs use the WebOS platform, which includes app management. The HBO Go comes standard on the Premium Content menu, which is part of the webOS interface used on the most recent LG TVs. The HBO Go comes standard … I loved my LG C9 TV but, in order to watch TV… It’s ridiculous...At least say something if we are going to have or not the app.
